BFF no SAL

Well it has been three weeks since my BFF and I got together. Week 1 was a Covid interruption (my bad, in more ways than one) , week two was due to a holiday (my BFF's good) and week three..no internet (my BFF's internet providers bad)

So it felt good to be back to our Skype crafting. However there is no SAL at the moment. My BFF has finished her stitching on our last SAL, pop over to her blog to see it in all its magnificence.

We both still have the framing to do, but as I don't have a frame sorted yet and she does I think we know who will reach fully finished first.

But SAL wise we are dithering, nothing is grabbing both of us, or even one of us sufficiently to draw the other in.

So until we do we are just going to sew on whatever calls on the night, whether that is a project of long standing, a random cover kit or something seasonal no rules just stitching.

Not even restricting ourselves to cross stitch.

As for this evening more stitching on the earth. and as I was finishing for the evening I realised that my Earth has curvature!

I am sure this is due to my stitching in hand. I am not sure if it will flatten as I sew more but I sort of hope it does not.

Not sure if you can see the curve on the pictures.

I think it would need a double mount if it stays.

I love the curve in the world, but it definitely shows more on video.

Your Earth looks amazing! I do get that curvature sometimes and I stitch in hand too. It does usually disappear when you stretch the piece for framing.
